feel stupid asking but......

i have just built a gaming rig installed battlefield 2 then applied the 1.41 patch
then restarted then i installed the special forces the os is windows vista 64 ultimate bf2 runs great but special forces just crashes the system any ideas ??

You don't need to run the patch before installing Special Forces, but you do need to run the patch after installing it.
Or in short, install 1.41 again.
