DiRT 2

I don't know if anyone's heard, but the next racing game that Codemasters is releasing is going to be DiRT 2, which was announced on November 20. It's supposed to be running off the same engine as DiRT and Grid, but with car and track detail claimed to be twice as good as DiRT's was. Here's some screenies, although I'm pretty sure they're just pre-renders and not actual in game graphics.





Anyways, I sure hope it's better than DiRT and at least as good as Grid and it better have demolition derby...

I've never felt like racing games work well on a PC, or that they work that will to begin with.

I've never played a racing game on the PC, IMHO they belong on consoles.

Didn't play the first one, but those screenshots look top-notch. I'll probably end up at least renting it.
