Anyway sought of the best news we have heard for a while but I wonder if they meant the beta would be out before Christmas? well maybe, maybe not any ideas or a guess?
If the Beta does come out "Really Soon" would it be for certain people or everyone, meaning Buddies of Aa/Dice or everyone?

The beta would be for everyone that wants to install it, the more people that do the better feedback we get and we don't have an update 1.30 again. That update alone set us on the road of public beta to stop it from happening in another update.
The plan is to get it out before Christmas yes

Patch 1.3 was downright awful. Broke more than it fixed, probably because there was no public beta.

The press release is somewhere in BF news.

Since I started playing after patch 1.41 I don't have experience with the beta patches from before. So... how long did they last? I just don't want to have the beta patch to be beta for a whole year...

beta was no more than 1-2 months if I recall correctly.

This patch is going to be such a disappointment. So many hopes and dreams, shattered once the realization sets in that it just breaks more things than it fixes. :laugh:
