I really want to get it, even though i got it on PS3, my younger brother has been on my back for the PC version on the count of mods and what have you. Looks like i will get probably later in the summer.

Personally I haven't had an issue in the past with disk protection crap, so its not really stopping me.

I dislike DRMs in general.
They increase piracy, and I don't want to support games/developers who choose to use it.

Plus you've got the issue about whether I'll ever be told that I can't play the game that I payed for, due to the fact I reformatted or upgraded one too many times.

depends, it isnt up to Valve/Steam if the developer/publisher of the game wants to keep the DRM like Securerom when they release it over steam

although it would make things a lot better, Crysis Warhead, Clear Sky all got released with their own DRM even though they had Steam authentication

Now I don't know much about this Securom program or whatever it is.

But I guess it has something to do with how many times it can be installed?

If so, why not load it to an external hard drive. That way you can just plug and play into any computer?

I'm being serious here, because I'm in he process of looking for a decently priced external hard drive and was thinking about doing this.

Thoughts?
