I saw on BF2s that many people who were victims of the recent spoofing attack just had their stats restored. Some of you guys who were hacked should be back to normal too.

I think he might be saying most people didn't get their stats back for a variety of reasons, one of which could be that Joe Sixpack doesn't contact EA about such matters because he doesn't give a sh*t.Comment

I got my rank back here is what i said in the email.
Dear EA,
My bf2 name was hacked into in November,2008.Then a few days after u wiped all my points,I would like to have my stats back.Please do not say u can not do it because u did it for other bf2 players that this happened to.

We have recently wiped BF2 stats from players who exploited the ranking system of the game. As noted in the Terms of Service you must agree to before playing, gaining an unfair advantage via the abuse of game systems or mechanics, whether by you or others using your Account, constitutes an actionable violation of the Electronic Arts Terms of Service.
If you believe that your stats were wiped in error, we can review your history. This will require you to play BF2 until your soldier has gained 100 points. Once you have gained 100 points please reply back and we can review the account in question to see if the stat wipe was done in error. If our investigation determines that the stats were wiped in error we will go back and restore the stats to what they were before the wipe.

All other statistics cannot be restored; however, you can re-select your unlocks to match the rank that is restored to your soldier. Your ribbons, badges, time played or anything else not listed above will need to be earned again. Please remember to “complete” one map/round on Special Forces.
