How is it for the 360? I heard a lot of mixed stuff. Anyone have hands on experience?

Its a lot like COD 4, however i have only played the game for about 1 hour. There are different perks and stuff which kept me entertained for a bit, but its not much different (multilayer)than COD 4. -

If you're looking for the latest game with decent gameplay that a lot of people playing it, World at War is for you. If, however, you're looking for something worthwhile, new, and exciting, don't waste your time or money. I've played the game for a few hours, and I must say I've enjoyed Call of Duty 4 much more than I have WaW for numerous reasons.Comment

I'm sold. I love it.
I will agree though that its basically COD 4 with different maps, weapons, and a couple new perks.
I can't see myself playing it for as long as COD 4, but it will definitely be the only disk in my xbox for several months.
I recommend it fully.Comment

If your looking for a new game, I would definitely recommend it. It's a lot of fun, and a lot of people play it. They also added new perks I believe, along with totally different weapons since it's a different time/setting. I liked this game better on the XBOX 360, than I did on the Playstation 3. I don't know why, but I just prefer it better for the 360. Most of the people I played with on the PS3 version spoke different languages.Comment

If you are looking for a relatively fast paced multiplayer experience, Call of Duty 5 is a good buy, rounds go by quickly as there are very few hiding places. But overall, Call of Duty 4 is a better game. CoD5 is a very atmospheric shooter, with ambient sounds and effects like embers falling from the air, it also does look very pretty. COD4 has better smoke effects. COD4 has cleaner, but not as pretty graphics. The sound is pretty bad in CoD5, you can't hear if anybody is near you, so you can easily be stabbed in the back as even if you did hear a sound, you would have no idea where it came from. However, if you enjoyed CoD4, you will enjoy this game. I play it, even with all of the bad aspects of it, it is a genuinely fun game to play.Comment
