Bf2 vanilla - hacked?

i honestly dunno but its really messed up.

i quadruple checked that its NOT a mod that i installed.

i also checked BF2 installed in two computers.

Basicly the hack included:
one hit kill
5 kills = new rank
UNLIMITED sprint
all weapons unlocked

it wasnt just me, everyone had this, and there was well over a hundred points per player i can tell you that!!

BF2 usually have about 500 or so ranked servers, but because of this weird hack only 40 or so servers are up, the rest must of shut them down as a precaution.

I also double checked the filter settings, no matter what i choose, its the same 40 odd servers.

i got fed up of playing after about 15 mins lol.

anyone else who has the vanilla client will probably see the same stuff going on.

no idea what you are talking about, i have over 230 ranked IO mode servers with at least one person present in them (no emptys) and thats with strict filters.

Sounds like a modded server, probably with private stats tracking. There are a few of them about.

some people were talking about this over at bf2s also. Logging in and seeing only 40 or so 'hack' servers.

yeah when i first looked at it i thought my stupid little brother done something to it :P (hes always into cheating in games, wouldnt be surprised if he messed up my BF2 client)

i havent a clue whats going on to be honest.

EDIT: i just checked BF2 again, its still the same weird servers

I don't have the same problems as reported above, but I have noticed that occasionally, game-monitors will index more servers in their list than the actual in-game browser:

Use that URL if you're having problems with the in-game browser, it's reliable and up to date.

Yeah i having/had this problem. Was a couple of day ago mind and havnt checked if it is fixed.
But annoyed me because i wanted to play EoD, and didn't have the energy for game monitor.
