I'm not missing long knives like that. I never expected to lunge in the first place. I'm missing close kills where the guy is shooting out of a window, oblivious to the fact that half of the map is behind him. I come in, crouchwalk with camo perk and suppressor, and stab him in the back. Then I do it again. Then he starts spazzing out and a round flies out of his weapon at 45 degrees and kills me in a single head shot. That's my problem.

Im getting both, the long range and short range.

The thing that annoys me is the fact that i UDNERSTAND you cant kill with the knife at range now, but if thats the case, DONT give me the hit animation because it takes 3 or 4 seconds to be able to swing again which is easily enough time for the enemy to have heard me swung and killed me.
