Single player crashes on launch, but multiplayer is fine

Hey guys,

Hope someone has fixed this one as I've not managed to find a solution anywhere. I've played the single player for several days now without any problems but today I now get a C+ runtime error as soon as I launch it. The obvious thought is, well something has changed but I don't know what. I've not changed any config files, windows drivers, and while Windows Update did run last night the log only shows Office 2007 related updates.

The multiplayer part of the game runs fine, which voids most other fixes I've seen people talking about. I could try reinstalling but since I wasn't far off completing the game I was hoping to avoid it.

Corrupted installation is the culprit i believe. Do a full uninstall than a reinstall. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip, so far as backing up my progress so far - is it just the following folder I need to worry about?
C:\Users\<login>\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW
