Start Up Error

Hi all,

I just bought Call Of Duty: World At War today and installed it. I then downloaded and installed the 1.01 patch also, and everything seemed okay. But, now when I try to start up the game it just doesn't start at all. I get to a black screen and the game just crashes. I tried restarting and reinstalling but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Try the standard things first:

- update your DirectX as instructed in the readme
- update your video card drivers
- update your sound card drivers
- be sure to exit out of any apps running in the background (eg. anti-virus, IM, etc)
