Another PB Update problem: "Could not convert..."!

After having problems with PB one after another, another one comes up after executing a PB Update using PBSetup v3.2: "Unhandled Error: Could not convert C:\DOCUME~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\pbs1F.tmp to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\pb\dll\wc002140.dll."

It looks like after the PBSetup v3.2 downloaded the new updates to a temporary file location, it fails to convert the said updates into a dll (DLL).

I tried uninstalling and re-install the BF2 game twice. Tried Using PbWeb.exe to manually update in the PB folder. Uninstall and reinstall PB using PBSec and update again using the PBsetup, all to no avail. I also tried fresh install BF2 into a newly formatted Hard disks- each using XP SP2 and SP3 with no other games and programs/softwares installed except the necessary drivers, also to no avail.

This is by far the worst PB error I ever encountered after PBhandshake error. I may have to retire my 3-star General rank callsign: Pres._George_Bush, if no solution will come.

If you got an idea to fix this problem, I would appreciate it very much.

    OVER AND OUT.

Download PBSETUP from www.evenbalance.com , SAVE it , fx to "pb" folder in BF2. Run it, add game, check for updates. DONE!

My best recommendation at this point is to sit tight, and try updating via PBSetup periodically over the next few hours, as the errors like these start to come into Evenbalance, they should release a fix..

I know they are trying to update PBSetup from v3.2 to v3.4, and that seems to be at least part of the problem, since my update was very "bug" filled..

        I finally got it!

Since everything else did not do good including the PBSETUP and trying to update several days now but no luck, I copied an updated PB Folder files from my other computer at the office and pasted it to my pc back home. It work!

Guess my ISP, LAN or even the modem I have here at home is having a problem updating from the PB site. Suck!

Thanks for the replies guys! See u at the BATTLEFIELD, over and out!
