Don't really care for this map and I have never had any issue myself running it, however I have heard from some folks that they needed to lower their graphic settings otherwise the map would either lag or crash.

Not to disagree with Sonic but it seems to me, that if your only having this issue with Greasy Mullet you may want to check your graphic setting before reinstalling and then try playing it.

Greasy mullet works for me too without problems. Not the best map ever but it's pretty fun :)

i wanted to check it out but forgot it about. i'm gonna finally download this and give it a try. all i need is the full installer core client + core maps, correct?

Yep. There is a standalone map pack downloadable here as well, there are rather a lot of servers that use it.

Greasy mullet works for me too without problems. Not the best map ever but it's pretty fun :)

II found Greasy Mullet much more enjoyable after a bit of tweaking.

One thing that drove me crazy was having the SR71 equipped with guns and hell fire rockets. Trust me on this, you would be amazed how much better suited the SR71 is for carrying the F117A weapons load out or a small tactical nuke than it is for dog fighting or strafing targets at mach 2....

how do unlocks work in this game? on vanilla i have a gun unlocked for spec ops that is not available in aix. but the 3 other guns i have unlocked i have access to.

The Spec Ops portion of the unlocks is currently not functioning correctly and it is a documented bug on a change list.

i decided to dig up this thread because i spent a couple hours trying to find this answer myself today and i know not to many of the aix conquest regulars are even aware they can unlock weapons just like in vanilla.

i noticed some servers, the ones that show a rank symbol, have unlocks available but the other servers dont and after noticing players on the aix stats webpage with unlocks listed in their profile i was curious.

BF2SPCC didn't work for me so i followed the second set of directions for getting the unlock feature functioning and it worked like a charm. any server i go in i have my unlocks. sure the aix weapons put most of them to shame but its very nice to beable to take the AT kit with the P90 right from spawn.
