The main thing I wanted to try out was co-op mode. I gotta say that is the MOST FUN I have had in a game in a long time.

It was so easy. You dont even need a server, you just host it and invite a friend, they accept the invite and BAM, youre on and playing.

A lot of fun.

Any other thoughts on it?

Looking forward to trying it out...and I'm sure it'll be addicting, which just means I'll have to finish SP even faster to unlock the Zombie Horde. :)

In co-op do you rank up? I mean do the rank-ups count for the MP gameplay as well? Or is it seperate?

Yep. XP that you gain in co-op, counts toward your MP rank as well. :) Smart idea, IMO...gives great incentive to play co-op with other players.

Damn that seems like a really easy way to rank up fast. Hopefully i'll have the game tomorrow so I can find out myself.

I'm not completely sure what you mean, but if you're wondering if the stuff you do in MP also goes toward your co-op challenges, then I don't think so.

As I understand it:
XP/Challenges earned in MP stay in MP.
XP/Challenges earned in co-op goes to MP as well.

sometimes i host a co-op and it ends and we gain no XP. the round before I recieved around 250 for about 20k of coop points.

any ideas why?

I think in competitive co-op only the guy that came in first gains xp but I could be wrong.

I've been having a hard time finding coop servers. People either have a ping limit or its passworded I haven't even got to try the zombie level on coop yet.

I'm playing on a LAN with my wife (the only freaking way I can play co-op at all) and we have only gotten XP for completing challenges. There have been quite a few levels where we have both gotten 0 XP.
