how do you get the m1a1 from preorder?

hey guys i preordered the game from gamestop and so supposedly i get the m1a1 right? well how do i get it? the gamestop guy didnt tell me jack **** on how to get it and the website dosnt help either. i didnt receive any code whatsoever from them so im not sure weather poor not i should install the game or not until i get one. if you have unlocked the m1a1 because of the preorder please tell me how. thanks

Just so you guys with pre-orders and weapon unlocks know...the way one of the devs described how it works, is that you can use those weapons, but you do not get XP/or get points toward their Challenges. Only once you reach whatever level they are actually unlocked at, are you able to put pts toward their Challenges. So just an FYI on that.

You get a preset class w/ that weapon or so my friend says, and it acts like you picked it up off the ground like whiskey said.

I looked in my email and it had the code there, i pre ordered from gamestop, i'd thing thats where it would be no matter where.

okidokie.......

To unlock your M1A1 soldier, you need to first install your copy of World at War. After installation there should be an extras option, select extras, and it should be included in that menu, then just go in and enter your code.

After entering your code, enter any multiplayer match, and select Assault i believe, and ZAMO, you should be using the M1A1!!!!!

After i did that, i was told i would receive an email by Tuesday with the code "while supplies last" whatever the f*ck that means. The email and code came last night, so HURRY UP DUDE!

well heres the deal, i pre-ordered it in store and all they asked for was my phone number

so i went to the website and again, it just asks for my phone number and e-mail so i submit i and i havent gotten anything yet. when do i type in the number on the receipt?

its not a huge deal, i know ill unlock it in a few weeks anyway, but the gun was the whole reason i preordered it..

I do not believe you have to type in a number from your receipt.

You get an email containing a code, similar to a CD key. On the splash screen when Call of Duty opens, it will say extras. Enter the extras menu and select "Redeem Code". Enter your email code, select submit, and it will say "Code Approved".

After that enter any multiplayer match, and select Assault, you should have your weapon. I submitted my registration Friday, and received the code, late Monday night.

It will probably take a while to get the email. I know when I registered with a similar page for the 360 beta (which I didn't use lol), I got the email the next day.

Stick the CD into the tray>>Auto Run>>Go to Extras in the Menu>>Enter Promotional Key

...got my email with the code yesterday, entered it after I had already been playing MP, it still won't let me use the M1A1 Guess thats what they meant with new game, in other words I only made it to lvl 22, if I erase my stats I should have the M1A1 and since I have the deluxe edition the FG42.

EDIT Still doesn't work here, no M1A1

i got it man. got the e-mail yesterday with the code. the gun is absolutely awesome in hardcore with no recoil and 15(?) shot clip. too bad i dont get upgrades for it because i have been pwning with it. thanks a million whiskey
