probably the most annoying thing about cod4

people complained about some of the perks but then for some reason just totally loved the choppers and airstrikes i really cant understand this its a really gimmicky aspect of the game im not sure why the game designers ever implemented it. There is alot of potential for tactics in the game without someone going "oh my helicopter! yayz!" and then your team is getting raped and your all spawning in a corner in shipment getting carpet bombed and then some guy laying down somewhere is gettin a bunch of 'kills' lol. its not even one of those 'oh you hate it when your getting bombed but love it when your doing the bombing' its not like that i feel it just kind of lowers the quality of the game in general maybe they felt it was something that would make the game stand out or something but it wasnt necessary the game is good as is without funny gimmicks.

Artillery replaces the airstrikes and dogs replace the helicopter.

And in COD:WW, there are far more options that server admins can change, but still remain ranked. You can turn off all perks, you can turn off Recon/Arty/Dogs, you can turn off vehicles, you can give more or less health and change the speed of health regen (or turn it off), set wave spawning, etc. Way more variety is now possible.

And these B-52 bombers come screaming out of the sky full of liquid death. The skies are ablaze with the flames of Hell as you run to the anti-air defense systems to try to take out these waves of bombers that are decimating your team as you try to capture one flag. While all this is going on your being sniped out of the seats of the AA guns. Dogs are unleashed, ripping the flesh from throats as you hear your comrades scream in agony and the growling of the dogs and you here them running. You empty entire clips into them only to have them keep coming. Soon they are all over you and your monitor turns black and you wait to respawn.

You think my avatar on the left is a Nazi Zombie. Its not though. Its a picture of me the first time this happened. It was amazing.
