What would be your ideal teammates?

So if you're in a pubby server ideally what would you want your teammates to do? Do you think there should be more teamwork in a random pubby server?

I wish more people would communicate through VOIP and would cover the guy who is tryin to cap the flag even if it means he/she has to be the human shield.

I was with the guy who grabbed the flag and 2 guys were chasin us so i stopped and started shooting at em, they killed me but I stalled them long enough for our guy to score! It was awesome

I usually play on promod pubs so I don't have a problem with people that can't think properly

But generally, someone who isn't afraid to get a bad K/D for the sake of his team (S&D mainly)

I'm glad they don't use mic's.. We have enough sh*t talkers typing, we don't need to hear them aswell..

As for team work.. lol.. It's just not a strategic game like BF2.. Sure there are hints of team work like the one you just described but you can never really have an executable game plan..


As for ideal teammate.. Someone who doesn't constantly stand infront of me just as i'm about to take a shot, doesn't stand or crouch in doorways and doesn't use sh*t like marty and nade launcher would be nice.

EDIT: OH! and those annoying maggots that smoke spam sniper view points! like the road running down the middle of crossfire!.. That sh*t is just annoying.

I also wish like on WAR your teammates would help get the flag. I always find myself laying there gettin blown up. And on headquarters almost every time if I had just ONE MORE person we could have gotten it.

I only had this happen to me on one server. We had no voip. I tore up this server one round and got a pretty good score. The next game, he joined my team and he stayed with me THE ENTIRE GAME.

If I died, he killed the person that killed me. If he died, I got the person that killed him. If we were taking out a room, he watched my back as I went through it. If he died, I knew to turn around. If I died, he did the same. He looked for me when I spawned and after a while, I would look for him if he died.

In the end we got the #1 and 2 spot on the server all the games we played. I had a great time. Never saw the guy again.

EDIT: As for a meatshield, thats easy. Most pubs have a guy on a team that just runs out in the open trying to do some run N gun stuff. Just follow him behind cover and wait for him to get mowed down. I try talking sense to these folks, but they just want to run up an alleyway and get their heads ventilated, so might as well put them to use

I don't need anyones help D= come too close and I'll slice you up!

Being a sniper 90% of the time I always rely on noob snipers to stand up in the middle of a firefight and draw the attention away from me while I make some bowls.
