The tank stuff is pretty similar to the local strings I saw in CoD4 which I posted about...

There is a Kamikaze challenge (I'm sure I've seen it) - but I thought that was to do with martydom or having someone lob a sticky nade on you then you'd run into them to blow yourself and the other guy up...

The '4th hardpoint' could always be for Co-Op mode...

I doubt they would make 4 hardpoints... simply because hardpoints encourage kills and not teamwork, and well if they did have 4 hardpoints not many people would get the 10 kills required for it... (well they probably would but generally not alot of people would reach it, I know some people who just get 7 kills and happen to die just as that happens)

Wasn't there some teargas references in the Cod 4 files?

And since we all know that it didn't make it to the full game, i wouldn't be suprised if this game has some leftovers in the files too...

Same thing was with BF2142 a lot of sound files are in the game that never made it into the final release, wouldn't be supprised if they were the same thing...

FYI - it's a good thing you posted that info here...one of the mods on cod.com deleted your first post where you detailed all those sound files.

Nice job detective. We'll see if it shows up in game. Remember, there is a B17 bomber mission in single player, so there would need to be files for that,.

It is actually a Catalina Flying Boat, not a Flying Fortress that is in the SP game.

On subject: If Base Assault was going to be included wouldn't that mean that there would have to be bigger maps? Maps that could handle multiple tanks? In UO's Base Assault it took many rounds of tank/satchel/bazooka just to crack the bunkers....so that would mean that we would need more than one tank per side...hence the need for bigger maps. I'm betting we won't be seeing Base Assault in the final release. I hope I'm wrong.

Looking at the 4 map overlays that have vehicles, where would they put the bases anyway? In UO, there were 3 bases for each team right? The maps look too small for 3 bases per side. Maybe they'll limit it to 1 base, that is if base assault will be made.
