Douchebags ruin games

So I was playing in BOLT RIFLES ONLY VOTE server earlier ran by ubclan.com and enjoy the server. It is HC, and really the only HC server I play on because I enjoy the 1 shot kills with the Bolts.

Well, we all know that not everyone would follow the rules, so they have Voting Enabled.

With voting comes douches, who are too busy focused on the game, if they see a name come up to Vote Kick, they automatically hit F1.

I was Vote Kicked today, for absolutely no reason besides rolling the enemy team and this idiot named VictorySable or something of the sort. Sad part is, he was wearing a clan tag. He claimed I had esp hack..whatever the hell that was and I was supposably killing him without seeing him.. uh huh.

So he requested a Vote Kick, basically claiming I wasn't using a bolt ROFLMAO ... and although I tried making my case in the chat box... nobody listened and I got kicked like 12 to 3 votes.

I have come across the same thing in this game. There was an obvious hacker on a HC server the other day and he was quite freely admitting it whilst aimbotting around the map. Anyway, when i tried kicking him, although everyone knew what he was doing it failed and then a vote to kick me was started, ending in a success.

Its OK Patton. Better to be kicked for haxusation than for the hax themselves

Im voted off servers now and again and usually you can just hop back on in a minute or so and start in again.

I know its the principle of the matter, but youre a good player and better than them That has to count for something, right?

Good news is, looking at the server names in the browser, there are more and more "rifles only" ones popping up. I suspect this will increase even more once the full version is out. There should be plenty of them to pick from in the coming weeks. :)

With the rifle servers, it will all come down to finding one where the rules are completely laid out and there is a strong presence of admin.

People make their own rules for these Bolt Rifle Only servers. They use Bouncing Betties, hmm, Bolt Only? "Yeah, but Betties are a perk" :dead:

Then people who use nades, "Nades aren't guns, we can use them"

And the people who use pistols "Well its the secondary weapon for the bolt rifles"

this is slightly retarded but generally i have to agree because the person that makes the rules for the server is usually paying for the server too. its only fair to follow thier rules and enjoy the game.

Although the many server options excites me, it also scares me in the fact that so many of the servers will have so many settings you will never know what your actually allowed to do or not.

It wasnt so bad in CoD4 where you joined a server and that was it, you put up with the rules of the game. I just feel now i wont be able to find "vanilla" servers due to the extreme amount of settings being passed on each.

I played on that one, and BOLT RIFLES ONLY HC server for a couple hrs tonite. Plenty of douchebags on both. The 2nd one had FF on too, so take a guess how that went. My own team-mate purposely TK'ing me at the very end so he can put "Last kill! lolz" in chat.

It might be a bit harder, but still a small price to pay for all the options and variety, IMO. Weird rules aside, it is kind of cool to be exposed to so many different types of games/options. Helps give a sense of what works and what doesn't.
