CTD all of a sudden

i fired up bf2 for the first time in a long time and it keeps CTD'ng every time, sometimes right away sometimes after a while. i thought it might be due to EAX on, but it's not. this is on vista 32. anyone else getting these CTDs? what should i do? reinstall?

I'm have the same exact problem. Yesterday, I was able to play hours on end and I only crashed to the desktop once or twice but for the most part I was able to play. Today, when I wanted to play, I can only play on a server for 1-2 minutes before I crash to the desktop.

I also have Vista 32-bit so it may be the OS, I'm not sure though.

i think i solved this by updating PB crap. damn PB is the root of most BF problems.

as i have the very same problem but i dont have vista:P
the server just freezes and takes me to the desktop ....
ALL OF A SUDDEN:p HEHE
