What does the level 65 perk unlock called Reconnaissance do??

I don't have the game running right now, but think it's supposed to show enemy artillery and tanks on a map. I'm guessing that means it will show where the arty will hit, and will show all enemy tanks, regardless if they're firing or not.

Unfortunatly there are a lot of perks I will probably never use, as in CoD4.

Flak jacket is about as useful as body armor in CS:S
Unless the flares get REALLY bright, my shades are going to stay on my dresser.
Until martyrdom becomes a huge problem, the toss back perk will probably collect dust for me.
Recon perk, probably wont use it either.

The rest will be used at some point

I just noticed this, but the deep impact emblem, has the bullet AND casing going through the wall.
