Selling my two copies, will they work?

Recently I decided to get back into playing BF2142, since BF2 was getting a bit old. So, tried to install it and when I wanted to play it gave me the no-dvd error. I spent hours looking for a solution, tried everything I found and still it didn't work. It had something to do with the DVD player so I decided to just cut out the middle man and rebuy the damn thing online together with Northern Strike. That was I was sure I would be able to play (and so I am :)).

The question I have is this: I have two copies of BF2142 (I have two computers, used to play it with a friend) which are now useless to me so I thought about selling them. However I'm not sure if the serial is linked to my account or not.

If I sell my games with the legit serial numbers, will the new owners be able to just create a new account with that serial?

Yes they can make a new account. Only the downloaded version is linked to your account.

If the games are registered, nobody else can use them online, unless they use your account. Login to EA Support, click My Games and that will show your Registered games.

the last one. you can only make one account per cd key.

unless you provide him with your login/password, it will remain tied to your account.

Yea their right just tested it out on my wife copy. she has the deluxe dvd. Its a no go with a new account. i Can log in on hers with my account. I just can't create a new account.
