Can't Start WaW

Hi, I've downloaded the beta, got the key & it worked fine for a while but now it doesn't work. It says C:/Program Files/Activision etc. is not a 'vaild win32 application'.
It also said something about direct x before when it crashed but it won't even start now.
I've updated my Direct X again and GFX drivers and it's done nothing. I also get this problem with COD 4 now.

If you have XFire on, close it.

Have you restarted your PC? If not, do that.

I had a clanmate had the exact same problem. They had Realtek audio and once they updated their driver, like it says in the readme.txt file, it corrected the problem for both games.

If it's nVidia, try updating to beta drivers (if the other thing doesn't work). It fixed some of my problems.
