I wonder would happen if Blizzard decided to handle its WoW accounts the same way....

Yep but blizzard and EA are completely different, while EA doesnt give a sh*t blizzard investigates all problems individually on each account, it may take few weeks but you get your stuff back always. + blizzard games are all top notch while ea games are just crap.
