Do you mean he's trying to paste his Beta stats into his Retail game profile? If so, that may not work due to them being different versions.

The profile is hashed by your CD key. Hence why the CoD4 level 55 cracks needed you to change your CD key to the one they provided and change it back to your own.

Tried this, but it didn't work. And now my Single player doesn't open, and my computer just tells me it isn't responding.

        Any ideas?

I edited the OP to add some clarification to what is being done.

@Dark: Sorry for the late reply; I'm not sure why that happened. If you follow the (now updated) steps exactly, you should have no problems. If something is wrong with running CoD using the new profile, you can force it to load your old one by changing C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\pl ayers\profiles\active.txt from <newprofilename> to <oldprofilename>.

I know this post is old but I hope you can help me

I did 10hrs on CODWAW and got to @ sargeant....i used a CODWAW profile backup tool that I cant find that backs up profiles and have 2 profiles saved to my network HD

i followed your first instructions and tried to copy paste the profile with server data to the app data folder in vista 64bit ultimate , rebooted comp but im still at the start of ranks

the tool is removed from the home website ... im trying to find the website to link u

unfortuantely i didnt know the profile was differently to COD4 and did a reinstall

so some advice would be great

I'm not sure I totally understand your situation. If User Account Control is on with Vista 64bit, the folder may be even deeper - C:\Users\Iwantcable\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Pro gram Files (x86)\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles

Post what the contents of that folder is (or the shorter one if you have UAC off) so I can try to help you.

                  I have - C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Local\Virtualstore\progr amdata\NVidea ... NVstarted

                  there is nothing else there!

But where I have my player profile is this....

then 2 files ... players and servercache

                  so ...

                  User\Username\appData\Local\Activison\CoDWAW\profi les\"Playername"&"active"\"configcfg""config_mp.cf g""mpdata""mpdatabk0000"

The only one I know of is just a .bat file that places a backup in My Documents. Check your documents to see if you have any backups, then try copy & pasting them over the ones in "User\Username\appData\Local\Activison\CoDWAW\prof iles" etc.

this is where I got the backup tool from

but its missing "page not found" but the COD website is there

                      Ill email them

I have no bat file as I never knew the profiles where found differently to COD4 and did a reinstall and lost the files
