    Tiny ammo loads

2 spare magazines, really? It sucks that bandolier is unlocked all the way at level 32. In COD2 you got the full load of 6+1 magazines for SMGs at spawn.

I agree, it should be default. I don't use any of the other perk 1 because of it (then again, I always use stopping power for perk 2).

I didn't mind the ammo load outs. It made you conserve your ammo and to find more.

I spend most my time playing on packed maps so spare ammo/ weapons are always at my feet.

It's also quite fun running out in the middle of a fire fight with a pistol in the hunt for another gun

          QFt, man. :)
What don't having the Bandollier until that level is that you have to conserve ammo at all costs, making every shot count, ie, using Stopping power, steady aim, etc, searching for weapons on the ground, etc. It's funny in it's own sense.
Obviously there is the "trick" of using the M9 as a sidearm for the MP5 and the MiniUzi gives you more ammo, etc.

I would like more ammo. But I usually die before I run out. You can always pick up another gun.

i dont use anything other than bandolier for the first perk. if you stay alive and are using something you like (AK-47 or M16 for me usually) you need to have ammo. that and its nice to be able to empty a few clips into a chopper and then be able to go on what you are doing.

I think the ammo is just fine. It either encourages you to go find more, use the Bandolier perk, or get used to other guns.

Edit: Woops, I thought this was the COD:WAW section! If you guys think the amunition in COD4 is tiny, wait til you play that! :p

                  Re: Tiny ammo loads

Its about conservation of ammo, really. Less spraying and wasting ammo is crucial. Its hard, and a bit annoying sometimes when I run out of ammo, but I live with it.

Some games are intentionally designed to involve this kind of ammo conservation strategy (BioShock has to be favorite of this style)
