Depending on the quality of actual textures used, two games using the identical gfx engine could look quite different.

More 'nitpicking' as you put it, but I would hardly call a patch and an entire expansion pack game the same thing. I did vote the 'other' option, and I'm not sure if you played CoDUO, but it brought a lot of people to the series and a lot of gamers who have played all of the CoD's consider it the best.

When did I say the two were the same? You are assuming I use / to mean another name or term for something. I separated them with a slash meaning that they are not the same and use the / to function as "also this SEPARATE thing", otherwise I would have combined them without slashes. Ex. EXPANSION(also called PATCHES) . CLARIFIED: ALL EXPANSIONS and PATCHES (etc.) are attached to their associated original games. This just means that each one of these discrete objects are linked to their original games. I have not played CoDUO, but in this situation it doesn't matter simply because I am not going to vote in my poll. If you care so much, tell an admin to change it. I feel the other option should cover the essentials though.

How could it have better graphics? World at War was built on the engine of CoD4.

ALL EXPANSIONS/PATCHES/ETC. are included with their respective games, but if you disagree with this policy,vote for the "other" option. Stop nitpicking.

I like COD4 cause it's Modern Warfare. Also I think it has better graphics that WAW

I actually prefer waw to cod4... Ignoring the bugs that had better be worked out by release.

I voted for Cod2. I just found the campaign very well-made and engaging. I didn't play online for Cod2, however.

I recently reinstalled CoD2 since I didn't give it a chance because the developers changed a lot of things from CoD1 to CoD2 which I didn't like. Anyway, there's a lot of non vanilla MP servers for CoD2. Just last night I was playing the map Overgrown from CoD4 and the server had a mod where you could pick any 2 weapons from any team. It was like the best of CoD4 and WaW without the perks and attachments. I'm still undecided which is my favorite but I'll probably pick CoD1 in the end.

IMO, we can NOT add WW to this list since you can't say this game is better or not since we just play his beta, which is far away of the full game...

I played all on the list until the end and also the MP (UO inclued), except COD3 since wasn't released to PC, so my vote goes to COD4... really amazing work. :P

COD2 also was fantastic on his time...
