Garand

What do people think of this?

I only just unlocked it and had been rather in love with my previous rifle (1st on the list). However i unlocked the Garand and coupled it with stopping power and it seems to give me 2 hits for a kill!

What are everyone else's opinions?

Haven't used it yet but it looks (and, surprisingly, sounds) awesome! I love the rifle that comes before it, feels very powerful.

But see! Why can the garand do as much damage as a regular bolt?!

SVT-40 is still the best imo, but yea a good weapon.

I prefer the sound and look to the M1 Garand its more "WWII" for me. I must admit, i have used the first rifle (SVT?) a lot and therefore haven't touched the second.

SVT is the first Semi-auto rifle you start with, just got the sight for it, its awesome :)

There is no Lee Enfield (no Brit weapons in this game).

I am being told the Gewer (second rifle) is actually the best in most peoples opinions.

Of the people using semi-auto rifles, I am seeing the Gewehr in killcam being used more than the SVT.

Gewehr is better imo. But they are very similar and I suppose more people use the gewehr just because it's an unlock.

Both the SVT and gewehr are ridiculously easy to use though, barely any recoil and you can fire them very fast.

I was having some good success using a "silenced" SVT, and counter-sniping opponents on Roundhouse who were up in the tall middle structure. Took quite a few hits to get them, but they didn't know where it was coming from.

I'm looking forward to trying the Garand.

i love the garand and with stopping power its even better.

when i see people using SVT/gewehr, they just fire rapidly, and i think that spoils it. when i use the garand i tend try and kill people in as few bullets as possilbe, its fun taking out somone running with a head shot using 1 shot

Love the garand but a lot of my shots don't reg and get gggpwned by those auto rifles (first 2)
