I love the game, Im so happy it's back to WWII. The feeling I have now is that Im going to like it more than 4 because it's WWII, but its only a Beta but it should get better.

Lol, i keep hearing numerous hunting jokes about it. Makes me crack up. I picked one up and got continually rolled but ive never been good w/ COD's shotguns. And im with you on that hit detection, im a sniper through and through but ive had enough head shots not register to make me drop my rifle and pick up some SMG. No fixes on these things and its going to be a release day bust IMO.

What do others think about the elephant gun? (double barrelled shotgun)

It's pwn A bit longer range than the good ol' trenchy, little ammo, but still awesome

2142 had great voices, I think so too.

    "Greasemonkey!"

The CoD:WW voices are alright, but they get a bit tiring after a while.

Or 1942. I've only played the demo of 1942. BF2's voices were horrible. All the USMC voices sounded bored, the Arabic has annoying, and the PLA speak bad Chinese. The SF Russian voices were a bit better imo.

I hate how the minimap makes you stop to look at it. No moving, no shooting, nothing.

Also there's an option to disable mature content or something like that, tried it and I was still able to blow limbs off with the trench gun. All past CODs have had the option to disable blood.

I think Battlefield did it right. Each team spoke an authentic language and there were subtitles so you could understand. After a while though, you learned most of the foreign phrases and didn't have to look at the subtitles. I think 2142 had the best voices.

What breaks it the most for me is the hit detection, especially for the sniper rifles. I mean, ok my aim isn't the very best, but if I carefully aim at another sniper and wait until my crosshair is completely still... and it still won't register :/ It's a little bit like in the early stages of CoD4.

That's interesting. For me, it's the total opposite. At first, I didn't like the voices, was worried the dogs were too powerful, that the tanks were too strong, etc.

But the more I play, the more it's starting to feel like a comfortable pair of shoes. The voices blend into the background, the dogs are getting pretty easy to dodge and stab, it's not hard to stay in cover and avoid the tanks, etc. And with all of the options now available to customize servers, plus co-op, I think this is gonna rock when the full version comes out.

Dont get me wrong its fun, but right now the problems are piling up into one big train wreck for me, maybe thats a bit to extreme of a visualisation, but never the less it keeps piling onto it. I can only play it for like a few rounds at a time because i just get annoyed with the various problems i run into round after round. May be a bit far sighted on my part, but COD6 is on my mind. Crossing my fingers it isnt sci fi. But nevermind that.

    BF2:BF2142 :: COD4:CODWAW

-Jack Bauer's voice is starting to annoy me. So is the German-accented announcer.
-The kill cam is awesome, it's great watching the shell come down and blow you into pieces. Though the dogs usually clip through the character when they kill you.
-Still have to press escape for the class selection, no key bind to just go to the class select screen.
-Mandatory depth of field is annoying.
-Trench gun only holds 4 rounds. I want my CoD2 trench gun back.

How does it feel like CoD4? It feels completely different to me TBH.

Seriously, I ripped this game a lot when I first played it - but it's growing on me. Granted, I still hate some of the animations/sound/the awful bolts/registry - but it's actually pretty fun.

It's something new to mess around I don't think I will be playing this as my main game tho...
That pretty much sums it up right there, a expansion or mod for COD4. Feels and looks exactly like it aside from setting and skins and weapons (the maps, the icons on the maps, the "Recon", the progress bar, need i go on?).

Aside from looks and feel there are plenty of problems that if not addressed could harm the release of the game, at least in my eyes. Some of my gripes about it:
-Dogs are just an annoyance after you get past the surprise and hype.
-Why even include the tanks, they are awkward and dont fit in good.
-(PC Specific) Maps are much to small (again) like its predecessor it suffers from small maps and HORRIBLE spawns.
-Thanks for making it feel WAY to much like a console game again.
    -Guns are unbalanced damage wise.
-Perks and Upgrades are thrown together and just feel gimicky and like they threw them in just to attract cod4 players.
But wait theres more! Thats all i care to post though cause those are my latest and greatest.
