Now, I'm going to have to figure out how to play CoD5 and L4D while simultaneously playing AIX 2. :thumbsup:

I thought they were waiting for the 1.5 patch? but yeah im also looking forward to some good LAN play :) I really want to try the float plane!

The AIX dev team reformulated their release strategy when EA delayed patch 1.5.

They've been content-locked for a few weeks now. There's a bug with a particular bot behavior that they've been trying to rectify but it looks like a game engine issue. I'm pretty sure they're putting the final touches on it for release within the next 2-3 weeks -- sooner rather than later from what I understand.

There's a lot of goodness in this update. It should be considered a "must have" for any Battlefield series fan. New weapon distribution, more planes & helos, more maps, ranking (Conquest and COOP leaderboards), unlocks, improved animations, graphics and sounds. It is awesome. p.s. "The" thing to do with the float plane seems to be to land it on the ground. It takes some skill ... or so I hear. =)

p.s. "The" thing to do with the float plane seems to be to land it on the ground. It takes some skill ... or so I hear. =)

Aww! It just needs some wheels on it like the one below. :p It is just the other way around. It takes some skill to land it in the water.. Now, if I could just keep the wheels from coming out when its on water... Maybe the water just needs to be deeper? :thumbsup:
