Re: games need more blood
100% agree, some people just prefer to be ignorant.ROFL!! I listen to ALL music, from such bands as the beach boys and the Beatles right up to Marilyn Manson, the dirty pretty things and even James Blunt. Like I always say all music is good music.
Now what IS funny is you're 35 and still haven't grasped the concept of individuality and chose to display this narrow mindedness on a gaming forum.. Well done :congrats:Comment

Re: games need more blood
I vote yes to a realistic gore option.
I liked the way they did blood and gore in Red Orchestra. I thought that was done well, without being over-the-top. Grenades would blow limbs off and stuff, and you could be blown in half.
As to the question of why it not there? I would guess some publishers are afraid of complaints and concerns that a game will be banned, so they leave it out. This is unfounded though, because many games have had gore without a problem.Comment

when saying something is realistic do not have movies in same sentence
I'm saying that hes never been in a real war. Does that have anything to do with me?
Band of Brothers wasn't a movie, it was a mini-series, and IMO much more realistic than any war movie I have ever seen.
I've read more than my fair share of books on the subject also... War History is just my thing. Not that I've actually seen someone get shot, I'm just saying that due to the rest of the realism in that film it would make sense that it's a realistic effect.Comment

Re: games need more blood
Some movies aren't that far off realistic.. Go visit Toxic junction. The only real difference is movies don't depict just how fragile the human body is. I don't think Kyle is saying sitting down watching saving private Ryan is the same as being in the second world war but it's the closest you will get. People go on about violence as if it's only a known concept to someone thats been to war and in most parts that's true but anyone can predict what's going to happen when a bullet hits a person in the head.Comment

i guess that's right though "EA" would rather be safe then sorry. they have many loyal fans that dont rely on bullet's ( probably more) . i can only respect that because if i were a chairman making millions i would try and make the safest decision also, then leave the blood and gore to "ID" or some other company. by the way, did i mention im drunk as hell and this is probably the most mature response ive ever made.....
dude quit reading book's and just join the military ****.Comment

Back in the days before political correctness ruined everything, the best gory games i played were SOF 1 & 2, Half Life (gibs yummy), Quake 1 & 2, Doom & Wolf:ET.
