Punkbuster B handshaking....

Whenever I join a server, the game loads, then about 5-10 seconds later the game goes back to the select server screen saying that Punkbuster B's handshaking has failed...

Any ideas?

A reboot might sort it. Otherwise download pbsvc, choose uninstall then install.

Before playing on server you want, join to another one, play few seconds on it (just select your kit, spawn and wait 5 sec.), then disconnect and join to server you want play on. There's no other easier and working solution . Evenbalance should fix it because its very annoying

If you haven't already, go into your user account in control panel and change type to administrator and turn off User Account control.

What I did: Download http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php add BF2142, run update. Start your game.

Join a server, get kicked by PB close the game open Taskmanger and kill PunkbusterB task then join another server.
