The clearing claymores part actually made me chuckle a bit.

It actually happened you know man.In the Iran-Iraq war in the '80s the Iranians were using volunteers who were usually teenagers and young men or other volunteers to clear minefields or run up to enemy machine-guns to save their squads.These were the famous "human wave" attacks.

From wikipedia:

....in July 1982 Iran launched Operation Ramadan on Iraqi territory, near Basra. Tehran used Pasdaran forces and Basij volunteers in one of the biggest land battles since 1945. Ranging in age from only nine to more than fifty, these eager but relatively untrained soldiers swept over minefields and fortifications to clear safe paths for the tanks. In doing so, the Iranians sustained an immense number of casualties, but they enabled Iran to recover some territory before the Iraqis could repulse the bulk of the invading forces....

well if you really cant stand noobs than play a mod, most players on vanilla wouldnt know what a mod was let alone how to download it..
besides, its nice to have a good challenge sometime but you gotta love the server you run into once in a while where you could swear you were playing single player lol.

They will always be here................on the other hand I don't play on any map where plane whores dominate. It is senseless and a waste of time.

yes, a n00b is a n00b. but when i play vanilla, too often i find myself jumping through servers trying to avoid being the victim. you know, when you only spawn to find yourself watching a ragdoll fly 200 ft in the air after getting blown off the map by a jet.
there is nothing i hate more than jet whores. i suck at flying jets no matter how much i practice so i have no reason to like them.

The mixture of noobs and veterans on a server makes the gameplay interesting.
The noobs can be easy kills but are alwlays good for a surprise.
While the veterans are harder to deal with but most of the times they use predictable tactics.

So bring on the noobs and the pros and come together ;-)

hmm, maybe cuz you were in a jet and the rest of the team eexcept for 1 other in the other jet, and maybe 2 others in a helo were on the ground? Not an accomplishment at all. Kick yourself

remember this game is alot ore user friendly now that years have passed. its no so demanding anymore.

As someone above me said, the jet/chopper guys have an advantage(*cough* Chinese J-10 in Wake *cough*) and usually VERY high K/D ratio's.

As I'm only playing infantry it's sometimes really hard to come up on top in a wide-open infantry map. If I'm at the right place at the right time kills can rack up fast, if I'm on the other side of the map however I'm unlucky.

I occasionally die more then kills, it annoys me but i soldier on until it is balanced.
