Help, any ideas?

It’s not a BF2 problem, so I’m just fishing around to get some help!

Ok, the problem is, I have installed Stalker CS and when I double click the desktop icon the game spins up and after about 5 – 10 seconds it will stop.

I have had the game working twice now, but after I come out and want to play again the problem starts.

BF2 starts ok, Doom 3 starts ok.

Has anybody had this sort of problem before?

OS Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 1333 Fsb.
Asus P5N-D Sli.
4 GB Corsair DDR2 800Mhz PC2-6400.
Hitachi 250GB SATA Hard Drive 7200rpm 8MB Cache.
XFX Geforce GTX260 XXX
Hiper 780W Type M Ultra

And using onboard sound, Realtek HD Audio drivers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Somehow there was another xrEngine.exe process running in task manager.

All fixed now.
