2142 graphics corruption (178.13 drivers' fault?)

When I join a game of 2142, this is what I get.






Note how the pattern is the same in the last few screens, it only changes when I load a new map. Also you can see the 2D HUD fine, but only the 3D stuff is corrupted.

I've tried reinstalling Nvidia drivers and the game. I'm using 178.13, and it seems to have started when I updated the drivers. Specs are 8800GT 512mb, E6850, Maximus Formula, 2gb DDR2 800. It seems to run fine in every other game.

Nope, just 2142.

Fixed by rolling back to 175.19. I'm disappointed in Nvidia. :|:

I have a 7600gt, got the exact same problem, fixed it by dropping down anti-aliasing from 2x to off. Rolling back seems like it might be as easy, but haven't done it yet.

This happened to me just a few minutes ago in TF2. After I closed the game I got a message that the display drivers closed unexpectedly and had been restored... I don't know if it has anything to do with this but it looked the same.

I have the exact same watermark looking screen errors. Wack

edit: Just took off AAx2 to none and its fine. hmm
