can not play a cod4 demo dm_1

hi all

today i tryed to make a video

when i stopt recording i always look in main or the demo is there
then i tryed to open the demo using cod4 consol \demo demo0000
when i tryed this its said:
demos\demo0000.dm_1 not founded

what can i do
(al also tryed to playe te demo's in \Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\ModWarfare\demos

but that also didn't work

what could be the problem

i use patch 1.7 if that may help you to help me

An IW dev guy posted this possible solution on CharlieOscarDelta.com:

Currently the game will not let you load demos from the place it puts them by default (cod4/main/demos).

Be sure to pay attention to little things like the exact name of the demo, be sure you're using the correct / \ symbols when creating the demo folder, etc.
