2 copies of BF2

Firstly, sorry if this has been asked before.

Secondly, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.

Can you run 2 copies of BF2 multiplayer on 2 PCs with only one internet connection? The reason I ask is that previous online games I have played rely on your IP to distinguish each player and my router has only one external IP. Does BF2 use your IP, your account name, or your CD key to identify you?

Yes you can. I play with my brother on the same servers all the time. We both have separate copies, yet only one internet connection.

My clan leader has 5 computers plus his 2 friends computers that have all played bf2 on his Internet before. (at the same time)
