looks ok i guess. seen most of that before though

think mods etc should work on epic sized maps or make fun ones like having masses of tanks and gunships all in a line ready to charge into each other like they did back in the days of battle :laugh:

So? DICE owns the right to both games, and can use the assets anywhere they want. CF2142 isn't legally allowed to use BF2 objects in 2142. I personally won't play any mod with legally-questionable content.

we have had this mod for nearly 3 years now and we had a letter from EA saying thats its ok and the fact we are still going, must mean that we are not illgal think about it

To all that think we just use bf2 stuff we dont we are making our on content aswell which as you know takes time and we have just updated the mod again to 3.02, we now have an antibase raping shields,
new firefox plane,


and the new Mammoth


and yes we have used some bf2 maps and we used some NAW and asked permision because we are a tournament we play every Saturday and we are starting campaign 6 so as you can tell we need maps which why i am asking for mappers.

First you're saying ER uses anything they can and making it into a bad thing and there you go taking stuff from BF2 and somehow it makes you better than him? He puts stuff from actual 2142 into his Mod, he doesn't go into Bf2 like you do. (And your post still doesn't make sense with how he takes everything and shoves it in his mod, I mean, atleast he didnt add a Walker from freakin' Robocop into his mod)

Personally? I don't like using every'un elses content, that's why I'm trying to make ER specific content but you probably would try and invalidate that because I'm young too or some crap like that.


And didn't Dennis help CF2142 with coding? or did you try and forget about that?

And I totally agree with Warts, I wanna see a letter before you close that arguement

That was for fun and we are not for realism and lets face it no one knows what 2142 will look like anyway or what is available as weapon wise, so with that said it is after all just a game.

No because we have younger people doing great stuff for us which is always great work.

Thats why it is a mod, it does not have to match and we have lots of players who play for fun every week.

I apologise for stating you are young and may not know what you are talking about, it was just because you posted on post i did before in a different section and you looked like you were following what others said, so with that said you have your opinion and even if you not seen the mod that's ok too
