Hello everyone, I am in need of help for setting up a BF 2142 demo server. I have the Demo Server program running on my computer, but I do not see my server showing up in the server list of my BF 2142 Demo game.
I have three computers which are hooked to a LinkSys WRT150N Router, which, in turn, is hooked to a cable modem. One of these computers is my demo server, and the other computer was what I was using to test the server out. The demo server read me file says:
In order to host a Battlefield 2142™ server, you must have the following ports open in your firewall.
UDP 27900
UDP/TCP 29900
TCP 80
TCP 4711
UDP 27901
UDP 1500-4999
UDP/TCP 1024-1124
UDP 29900
UDP/TCP 27900
UDP 16567
UDP 55123-55125
UDP/TCP 18000
UDP/TCP 18300
But how exactly do I free up all of these ports? I have the Windows XP firewall turned OFF on the demo server, by the way. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
