    RSS Feed

    Anyone know how to set up a RSS feed from TotalCoD4 to a clan website? Is it allowed? I want to set it up so news automatically posts on the front page of vBadvanced.

    Re: RSS Feed

    Login to your vbulletin admin control panel, scroll down to RSS Feeds.
    Click on Add New RSS Feed.
    In URL Feed add:
    Homepage for Total Gaming Network and CS-Nation. Get the latest video game news, previews, and reviews on a daily basis.

    Put a valid forum user account in under User Name:
    I would suggest created a new user with regular registered user permissions, turn off it's PMs, and other forms of communication for the special user and call it PUTNAMEHEREbot
    Then under forum add a forum that you have setup to show on the front page of your site through vbadvanced.

      Brilliant, thanks.

      But is this normal? ----

      Only shows a couple of lines then redirects here. It also doesn't format correctly... :/

      Compare:

      Good: ----

      Wtf Bad: ----

            Change your body template to
            Code:
            [noparse]

            {feed:content:encoded}

            [url={feed:link}]More...[/url]
            [/noparse]

              {rss:content:encoded}

              More...

              But.. Thank you, you beauty!

                No mention anywhere on the site that the news is being fed from Total Call of Duty?

                  I changed the name of the bot to reflect your site. They all know where it's coming from anyway :P we were discussing it on TS.

                  I'm yet to make a links box but don't worry. You'll be there :)
