    Re: Help

I'm not sure about the DX9 error, you could try redownloading the latest DX9.0c distro and doing a manual reinstall. I have found that anti aliasing sometimes doesn't apply properly when forced through Forceware. I assume this is what you are trying to do since BF2 supports a maximum of 8x.

It is most likely a driver problem at the moment, although you can take a few steps to try and fix the issue.

    1. Uninstall BF2 and remove all traces
    2. Uninstall Forcware and use Driver Sweeper to remove traces in safe mode
    3. Install the latest DX 9.0c distro
    4. Install latest Forware drivers
    5. Install BF2 and test the in game 8x setting make sure it works
    6. Try forcing settings through Forceware, see if it's fixed

If not, it's probably a driver error.

        Re: Help

Must be nice to have money to waste.

Hows the power bill going bytheway?

Q: With all this gear, why do you settle on a crap screen? F'k me if I had all that money to burn I would have went with a single GPU, slightly less powerful cpu and OC it mad (Like last years E6600 major hit on price value) and then use that spare money to invest on a 50" + LCD 1080p screen.

I know I'm not answering you're help question but I use a 50"er lcd sony bravia and its awesome and you sound like someone who likes there eye candy x100 so this upgrade is really in you're best interest After all, whats the sense buying all that power for a small 24" screen? lol

Ps. Accepting $$ donations to help me upgrade my aging rig.

I have a 50" Sonia Bravia hooked up to my sky HD and sony 5.1 surround system & sony hd divx player not interested in that size screen for gaming had the choice between a 30" but the 24" has better contrast ect.
