We have an announcement!

Battlefield In-Game Server Browser Update

Together with GameSpy and our Ranked Server Providers we have been investigating and working on a solution to recent events which have seen the in-game server browser returning a fraction of the full server list. We are happy to report that as of yesterday evening the server browser has been displaying more servers and is returning to normal. This may take longer to appear in some locations as the new information makes its way around the Internet.

its all still fubared on my end......38 servers all with 0 ping.....this was posted by one of the gamespy reps:

It has come to our attention that the servers are not showing up in your game's server browser or GameSpy Arcade or on GameSpy Comrade.

There may be an error in the Master Server Query or there is possible maintenance that is taking longer then expected. The GameSpy Admins and Techies have been notified of the problem and are working on fixing it. It should be fixed hopefully soon so please just wait and look for another post confirming the fix or until you see servers in game.

The maintenance or error goes out to ALL games that use our Master Server Query. That means if the game uses GameSpy's server browsing to locate servers, you will not see any. You may how ever still be able to join game's by direct connecting to them through IP address.

Yeah Mines still showing fck all..

I went to play yesterday and it displayed the full amount as it used to and then later on it went back to being an as*hole

i can hardly get into battlefield. it loads the splash screen and hangs there for 5 minutes before going into the game...
lol anyone know what might be causing that? i have not changed any system settings other than install crysis warhead.

Open: (My)Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\general.con with notepad and delete all the GeneralSettings.addServerHistory lines, leaving no gaps.

thanks i really appreciate your help, but i looked in my only profile (0001) and there is no GeneralSettings.addServerHistory lines there, i have just uninstalled and reinstalled bf2 and still the same thing. loads splash screen and hangs at the black screen for 5 minutes before continuing into battlefield. i have no idea why its doing it but its happening on my other harddrive as well.

Edit: nevermind i just tried loading it from my Blu-ray drive and it worked fine lol. I guess i need a new CD or DVD drive then...
