I had the same problems a few days ago. I thought it was a friewall problem in my ADSL router. I fixed it by deleting the mods/cache and logo cache folders then i got 400 servers instead of 17 servers. Hope it helps, let us know

did you delete the contents in your 'My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache'

i did what you did and i still have the same list. eh if any of you have some other things to try please tell me but i think im just going to waste my time on something else like going to the gym or something until whoevers job it is at DICE to fix my game lol

it's not a problem that DICE can fix. It is a gamespy problem and all gamespy games are being affected. UT3 is also having this problem.

I have been hassling with this on and off all day....lots of strange errors....connection failures.....PB kicks for ping...few servers showing up....x fire no good...then I went thru battle tracker to xfire to bf2142 and got on timeless gibraltar server finally.

Issue seems to be fixed as of posting time, i easily got 150-200 servers

My recommendation would be to start using x-fire if you aren't already. You can search for servers, filter them according to name, ping, full, empty, etc... You can tag servers as your favorites. It shows you your recent servers. You can add buddies and message them, even if they aren't in the game. It is actually much better than what is built into the game itself.

Who knows if and when they will get this fixed. They thought they had fixed it and that is why two days ago you were seeing a bunch more servers. Then they found out it wasn't really fixed as whole Server Providers weren't having any of their servers show up in the browser so it is back to only those servers with a zero ping are showing up.

personally, I've tried all the non-ingame browsers and still prefer the [currently broked up] in game browser because I like to jump around to different servers after every round or two, so I am switching a lot.

This is much too impractical, and a pain in the as. I like to do a quick search to see what maps have the amount of players I want to play with and jump on one asap. 2142 was not built well for jumping in and out of the game like that....IMHO
