Server Ban

I have a friend who is banned from our clan server.

None of the admins have banned him, he's not on the server ban list and he's not banned on the MBL.

It happens on a few other server's too, not many though.

Any Suggestions?

Does it say what he was banned for?

Like if he tries to connect, does it just say 'banned from server' - or 'banned from server [punkbuster]' sorta thing? (meaning he was banned via pb on the server)

Check the ban.txt file see if his guid is in there...

Does he have a valid cd key? Tell him to re-enter it...

The message is 'banned by server admin'

His guid isn't in the ban.txt.

And he does have a valid cd key and tried to re-enter the cd key, still no joy...

Hmmm... This is really weird...

I just tried to play on PB enabled server, and i wasn't kicked or anything...

So this brings me back to the previous thing i posted(same problem as the OP has).

Like a month or two ago, i found out that i was banned from the UN(united Noobs) server. At first i tought that my brother had something to do with it. But after talking to the UN staff, they said that they can't find my(or my bro's) nick/IP/Guid from their ban list.

But still i got the "you have been BANNED from this server by the admin" message.

And after discovering few other servers with the same message, it happened again today. I found one low ping server, i joined, after the map loaded. "Server Disconnected" message flashed really quick on my screen. And then i was back in the browser. I tried to re-connect but got the same banned message again...

So does anyone have any idea what's up with this thing??

Because you have been banned on all servers that stream to PBBans since June 11th... meaning you can go on 'normal' pb servers, as long as they don't stream to PBBans... alot of clan/league servers should be streaming to all Anti-cheat repositories (PBBans, Punkbusted, GV etc.)

The worst part of this is that this ain't the first game he has ruined for me... :dead:
