what exactly do you need to do to get either of these ranks? isnt it the amount of points you score in a given amount of time after you get BG? and is it game-time or is clock time?

Grab a crapload of points IaR the week you hit Brig... Ya, that should do it.

There's no target magic number, just, "more points than everyone else" cuts it nicely :P

Baiscally, take time off from school or work for a week and play 18 Hours a day!

First make brig in under 100 hours, so naturally youll have a spm over 3.5 and a kd of about 3.0. Time it right, make brig on a monday, that way you have all week to score carrer points. Save all big point ribbons and gold badges for when you get a decay rank. You need aprox. 5000-10000 carrer points for major and 10000- 20000 carrer points for lt. general. Once you have gotten a decay rank, you either wanna get lt.gen or go for supreme commander. Once you have lt.gen its you and 24 other guys going for supreme commander, 20000-30000 carrer points in a week will get you supreme commander. This can be done without stats padding, 3 of my clan mates have achieved this without padding. It takes a good squad and alot of hours, have fun.

meh im pretty much always by myself and then you guys got your little 24/7 camp server or whatever

like silencescope said :P I got liuteneat general 4/5 times, make sure you get brig gen after 4.30 New york time and then get as many points as you can, you should get it. 1 week I only got 4500 points and still got lt gen heres 1 of my screenies
