    video help???

i've been wanting to get some video footage, but having a hell of a time. for a while i could fun fraps & get 45 fps or so on shingle, which is reasonably good. now for some reason, i'm getting 30 fps at BEST. it's just about unplayable & the video would be nothing but blur once compressed. any suggestions from some video veterans out there?

try to set the max fps setting as high as possible. it will drop your fps if you set it to low or to high. and close all backgroundtask virusscanners etc.

it's running @ 25-30 fps when i set it to the standard 60. as far as backround progs, i close all but my system files & mouse/keyboard software. when you say as hi as possible, should i put in something ridiculous like 80 or 100 fps?
