What happened? First time i ever downloaded USI it was this brilliant kick *** mod, i downloaded 0.17 (latest version) the other day and its gone tits up!

They have the vehicles n stuff, the blackhawk is sweet in that mod, likewise with the A10, maybe best ive seen in all mods, the blackhawk def is.

Its ridden with bugs and glitches though, in some maps you cant even get out of vehicles, some vehicle images are wrong, and for some unknown reason, the first time ever in all my mod days (with latest PC) some maps lagged like hell and there was only me on them, it was my own local server :dead:

Its gutting really, its got most things there but something seems to be wrong. Anyway i'd like to see USI get back on its feet!

I play USI frequently and I haven't seen the problems you're refering to. All maps are super smooth for me. Perhaps you need to defrag and clear your BF2 cache?

Perhaps you can head over to the US forums and post some screenshots and better descriptions about what problems you are having. The only thing I can tell you is in regards to not being able to get out of a vehicle, I know in the Blackhawk, you can't exit it from the F1 seat. This is done to limit bailers.

I have not experienced this, either. I didn't know that about the Blackhawk though -- I've only played a ground pounder in USI and I was very impressed with it.

It is sad that there just isn't more popular than it is ... =\
