No/Yes's Video Guide to Knifing

I present a tutorial to knifing in 2142. Beginner knifers will find this helpful, and advanced knifers would probably find something useful.

    Part 1 *Set up*
This part is everything that should be done before knifing in Battlefield 2142. Follow these steps to avoid rubber knives!

    Part 2 *Basic Knifing*
This part is the three basic skills needed to master to win the battlefield!

    Part 3 *Advanced Knifing*
This part will tell new players how to dolphin dive, and how to use those three skills to beat most tactics.

I'm not sure what you mean.

You mean these videos are for knife only servers?

Nah, i've knife fighted someone in a game server before, haven't we all? I hate to lose and lose precious tags in a game server because I'm not skilled in using the knife.

I think he means there's a million videos of "how to knife" out there. And you put so much effort in your videos, when most people know how to knife nowadays. Your only like 2 years late....

well, i knife a LOT & i'll say that you pretty much put out most every tip for people on how to knife, but...

you make mention of practicing on knife servers...bah. single player is one thing, but padding is another. i earned all 52,000+ of mine in-game, not on single player or knife servers. there aren't too many people who really want to hear about knife servers, that's all. you should have put in some more footage of knifing in a REAL server, where the majority of the community play.

Moose, I think you know Anton599, he's my other soldier. He's never been on a knife server before. However, it's the other way around for No/Yes. No/Yes has never been on a server that isn't a knife server. I wouldn't consider knife servers statpadding if you create a soldier JUST for it. Anton599 is gotten almost 6000 legitmate knife kills, with a 34 kd with the knife. I forgot to mention in the video to create a new soldier for training. Oh, and I never congratulated you for finally getting my tags =P

oh and about the footage, I asked my brother and cousin to help me so I could get perfect shots.

Well, what inspired me to make this video was the way people knife fighted me, I felt bad to tell you the truth, and I really wanted to help them. I use to do private lessons, but that took up too much of my time. So, to summarize everything I taught to new knifers, I made this knife guide. I'm glad SOME people found it useful.

And about being 2 years late, to tell you the truth, I didn't know. I thought I was the first. I only look at videos on Youtube since i'm not familiar with any other useful guides on youtube, and I'm not familiar with any other video hosting. So, people who only surf on youtube could/will find this useful.

              Thanks for your replies!

ya i've seen you on our server a several times...a few times early in the year & a couple times a month or two ago. good skills:thumbsup: one of my buddies was asking me "who is this anton guy? he keeps knifing me." it was pretty funny. curious though do you use a macro or dive on the fly. i got big hands & constant diving cramps up my hands, so i use other methods.

The third video explains what I do.

I use to cramp too, but it stopped after drinking healthy stuff like orange juice or milk all the time.

What do you mean dive on the fly?

i meant actually using the buttons versus a macro. my hands are just too damn big. i've tried hitting Z w/ the thumb & the pinky & it still hurts either way. maybe it's because i'm big & old. at 34 & over 250, i'm no spring chicken any more:laugh:

Do you use a program to macro or a gaming keyboard? I couldn't get my G15 to macro anything

i have a g15 too & i tried setting that up as a macro, but it doesn't work in-game. if i test it in the settings, it shows that it's functional, but no response whatsoever in-game.
