Is there any way to get BF1942 to accept widescreen resolutions like 1440x900? I found a way by editing a .con file but if I do that, I cant play multiplayer. Is there another way that wont get flagged by punkbuster?

I couldnt really tell if it worked or not because I dont play 1942 a lot, but if you edit the properties of the shortcut, in the target box, space and type "+widescreen 1 +szx xxxx +szy xxxx" without ""s and your desired resolution in place of x. -

do that but dont forget to change the field of view
