Spawn points.

Start of round, as anyone who uses the vehicles knows fine well the location at which you spawn on the map is very important as some points are just that but closer and that bit easier when it comes to obtaining the vehicles.

Now had I been asked a few weeks ago what it is that determines where you spawn I would have probably said I hadn't given it much thought, isn't it a random factor?

Mind you of late I've noticed that it seems a tad less than random. Of the last series of rounds I've played (specifically Gulf Of Oman) I've noticed that I seem to spawn more often than not in the hardest location for obtaining the aircrafts.

For USMC that would be down the ladder beside the anti air cannon and for the Mercs that would be outside the base past the fixed gun bunker.

Anyone got any idea what factor determines your spawn location at the start of the round?

Perhaps it has something to do with the order in which your team spawns i.e. ping. But it's probably just random.

I have often thought it could be how quick you press join game after every round, but don't know about after you die a few times where you will spawn.

Its probably all random.

It's probably mostly random, but if a spot is filled up, then you most likely will be given an less crowded spawnpoint. If all spots are too crowded then the entire spawnpoint (the white dot) turns red.

Tell me about it. I spawn at the bunker on Gulf every single time. I haven't gotten in a MIG on that map for atleast the 8 months if I don't wait around for it. However, I never fail in getting a J10 on Dragon Valley.

FWIW On some maps I noticed that different kits have different proximity spawn points. But there has to be a trick for controlled spawn points as I saw one particular player on the Gotland Highway to Tampa server spawn most of the time and for several rounds next to the jet in the hangar. He owned that plane.

Someone told me that on the 2nd round of match top scorers have the best spawn points although I can't verify that since it always involves a random factor and I spawn maybe only 50% of time in the best point when I am gold medalist previous round
