    Well the problem has not gone away.

    I think that it is the PSU.

        Nice, time for a new PSU, getting a new PSU is always the funest part of PC upgrading

            Wow, this whole time that has been the problem, I'm sure.
            It takes a top of the line huge jolt? LOL, that's funny
            to me how uneconomical AGP is now.
